Belgaum District Co-operative Milk Producers' Societies Union Ltd

The Union, established under Operation Flood II, has its Dairy at Belgaum with a processing capacity of 0.60  Litres per day.

The Union has three Chilling Centres at Gokak, Ramdurg and Athani with chilling capacity of 0.30 Lakh Litres Per Day.  There are  8 Bulk Milk Coolers & 53 Automatic Milk Collection Units in the Union.

 
The Union procures and sells on an average 0.65 Lakh Kgs.Per Day and 0.67 Lakh Litres Per Day of milk respectively. The Union, apart from selling Toned,Standardised, Full Cream Milk and Homogenized Toned Milk in Belgaum, also sells milk in Goa. The Union produces Ghee, Curds, Peda, Flavored Milk, Butter Milk and famous sweet "KUNDA".
