Chief Minister Shri Siddaramaiah inaugurated Mega convention of milk producing farmers of Karnataka organized by Karnataka Milk Federation on 22.02.2014 The Chief Minister appealed the milk producing farmers to vaccinate their cattle twice in a year to eliminate Foot and Mouth disease among the cattle. Actor Puneeth Rajkumar, who is the brand ambassador for Nandini was felicitated by the Chief Minister. Shri Siddaramaiah also laid the foundation stone to the new cattle field unit of Kannamangala in Channapattana taluk. Energy Minister D.K. Shivkumar, Parliament Affairs Minister T.B. Jayachandra, Cooperation Minister H.S. Mahadeva Prasad were also present at the occation.
